Enforcement Timeline
AI systems posing unacceptable risk are banned. Social scoring, manipulative AI, and most real-time biometric identification prohibited.
Penalty: Up to €35M or 7% of global revenue
Providers of general-purpose AI models must comply with transparency requirements, copyright policies, and systemic risk assessments.
