Omnibus VII (May 7, 2026) reshaped the EU AI Act enforcement schedule.

High-risk standalone systems now apply December 2, 2027 (postponed from August 2, 2026) and high-risk AI embedded in products applies August 2, 2028. Article 50 transparency obligations moved closer — 3-month grace instead of 6, with a new deadline of December 2, 2026. Omnibus VII also added a new Article 5 prohibition on AI used to generate non-consensual sexual content and CSAM.

This audit reflects the structure of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 as amended by Omnibus VII. Classification logic remains accurate; obligation deadlines in the PDF have been updated to the new schedule.
